Job summary

Toshiba America Energy Systems Corporation (TAES) is seeking a 2nd shift Assembly Technician to support our Milwaukee Service Center. The role involves disassembling, refurbishing, winding and reassembling large generation equipment under supervision from engineering drawings and procedures.

You will learn and apply safety practices, operate measuring tools, hand and power tools, and assist with crane operations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude to demonstrate ability to perform basic disassembly and assembly.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as scales and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Learn and adhere to safety practices and policies.
• Perform disassembly and assembly tasks using hand and power tools.
• Assist with crane operation and material handling.
• Work from engineering drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Support production with scheduled extended hours or weekend work.
