Job summary

SBG is seeking an Assembly Operator for the 2nd shift in Minnesota. The role involves operating assembly machines, setting up equipment, and performing tests on parts and sub-assemblies. The position requires working in a flexible team with rotation among tasks and adherence to MOS and safety standards.

Qualifications

• +6 months of experience with assembly or machine operating in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly machines and equipment safely, assemble units and cartons as prescribed
• Perform work per print, process docs, parts lists, maintenance manuals, or engineering instructions
• Conduct functional tests and visual/electrical checks on parts and sub-assemblies
• Use system to move materials within the department to meet production schedules
• Set-up and operate various assembly equipment and rotate to bottlenecks
• Rework parts and assist with problem solving; gather data for continuous improvement
