Lippert is seeking an Assembly Laborer to join our Alabama facility. This full-time role involves assembling components to product specs, reading instructions and blueprints, and maintaining a safe, efficient work area.

You’ll handle parts, subassemblies, and tools, and coordinate with supervisors on issues to ensure timely production. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, up to 2 years in manufacturing, and the ability to use hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to identify that product meets quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies.
• Daily communication with supervisor regarding potential issues.
• Ensure safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
