Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking an assembly-oriented worker in DeSoto, TX to support gear motors, reducers, and drives. Responsibilities include hand assembly, stock maintenance between lines, and quality checks using calipers and gauges.

The role requires standing and continuous movement, with varied tasks across the assembly shop during the 2nd shift. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a 10% shift premium for 2nd shift, with pay rate of $18.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Able to read blueprints and use measuring gauges accurately.
• Performs arithmetic with different units and decimals.
• Must handle physical activity including bending, lifting and standing.
• Able to stand and move continuously during shifts.
• Works with accuracy to inspect and rework as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand assembly of gear motors and reducers, maintain stock between lines, perform testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing and shipping/receiving; use calipers and gauges to inspect work; rotate across assembly tasks.
