Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking an Assembly Operator for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm-12:30 am) at Portage, MI. Under supervision, you’ll operate molding machines and assemble molded parts, perform quality checks, and handle packing and labeling to meet production standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow Operator Instruction Sheets to determine part numbers and packing requirements.
• Inspect, count, weigh, and label parts per written or oral instructions.
• Operate molding machines and assembly tools; report malfunctions or quality variances.
• Perform routine quality checks and document production data.
• Assist with color/mold changes and setup for next job; support 5S cleanliness.
