Job summary

Camfil is seeking an Assembler/Packer for 2nd shift at our Crystal Lake, IL facility. The role involves assembling components per engineering drawings, packing filters, and maintaining 6S standards while upholding product quality.

Responsibilities include following assembly instructions, maintaining cycle times, inspecting for defects, and working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of stable work history.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports; speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow basic assembly/packing instructions, processes and procedures.
• Maintain process cycle time to keep pace with established standards.
• Visually inspect filters for defects.
• Stand and move for 4 hours per shift.
• Operate Pleater and production machinery; assist assembly as needed.
