Hitachi Energy is seeking a 2nd Shift Assembler/Material Handler for its facility in Mount Pleasant, PA.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to design and manufacture high-quality, cost-effective Dead Tank Breakers to exceed customer expectations.

Your Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and complete assemblies using hand and power tools, jigs, and fixtures; set up machines.
• Assemble wires and perform repairs as needed.
• Prepare assemblies for painting and touch up painted surfaces after assembly.
• Ensure neat and correct wiring and assembly, perform adjustments, operation, and lubrication of assemblies.
• Read and interpret detail and assembly drawings and wiring diagrams, working within specified tolerances.
• Move and load materials and products as necessary.
• Report maintenance and repair needs of machine tools to the supervisor.
• Complete daily timecards and report to supervisor upon assembly completion.
• Use hand trucks, power trucks, or other devices to move equipment and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and care for tools and equipment.
• Assist in on-the-job training and perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment properly.
• Count pieces, report shortages, excesses, spoilage, and malfunctions.

Your Background

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States for Hitachi Energy.
