Qualifications

• 0–2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Travel requirement: less than 10%.
• Ability to read build sheets and blueprints; follow procedures.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED; good communication.
• On-the-job and classroom training for skills and safety practices.
• Medium to heavy duties; may require lifting and varying weight.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or blueprint.
• Fastens parts with bolts, screws, rivets or other fasteners using hand, air and/or power tools.
• Removes metal to produce close fit between parts.
• Tends to machines to perform fastening operations as specified.
• Performs duties safely and efficiently per rules.
• Keeps area clean and organized.
• Assists in instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
• May require overtime hours.
