Qualifications

• Reads build sheets and blueprints to assemble parts accurately.
• Must be able to work rapidly and under time pressure to meet build requirements.
• Good communication with supervisors and co-workers in written and verbal forms.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit or blueprint.
• Fastens parts with bolts, screws or fasteners using hand, air and/or power tools.
• Removes small amounts of metal to ensure close fit between parts.
• Tends to machines to perform fastening operations as specified.
• Performs duties safely and keeps the work area clean and organized.
• Assists in training others as requested by supervisor.
• Overtime hours may be required.
