Job summary

Dana Canada Corp. in Humboldt, TN, is seeking a manufacturing operator to support assembly and machining operations. You will operate machines, load/unload parts, perform changeovers, and ensure parts meet quality standards on a rotating shift.

You will inspect parts, finish with grinders, and use hand and power tools while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following all instructions from supervision. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Assembly or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, load and unload machines using hoist.
• Change over and set up of machine, tools, and material.
• Inspect and gage parts per quality control plan.
• Finish parts using handheld grinders, deburr tools, welder, etc.
• Ability to use power tools, hand tools and material conveyance equipment effectively.
• Record all defects and scrap.
• Record pieces produced.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Perform special instructions/requests as determined by the supervisor.

• Stoop or bend to move parts and clean machines in work area
• Ability and willingness to rotate jobs
