Armada Staffing Group is recruiting for a 2nd Shift Anodizer in Fort Wayne, IN. The role involves treating and protecting metal components through the anodizing process. You will prepare parts, operate treatment tanks, and inspect finished pieces to ensure quality.

The position is full-time, with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour. Candidates should be comfortable with hands-on manufacturing tasks, standing for long periods, and adhering to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Comfortable performing physical tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive duties.
• Good attention to detail when preparing, inspecting, and handling metal parts.
• Ability to follow step-by-step procedures and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to wear PPE and work around processing equipment.
• Dependable and safety-conscious, able to meet production expectations.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Position and secure metal components on racks or fixtures before processing
• Check incoming parts for dirt, damage, surface flaws, or other issues that could affect the final finish
• Prepare components and move them through cleaning, etching, rinsing, and anodizing tanks
• Remove completed parts from racks and handle them carefully to protect their surface finish
• Follow established operating procedures and wear PPE
• Keep the work area orderly and maintain a safe production space
• Monitor work quality and pace with daily production targets
• Complete other tasks as directed by the supervisor
