Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a production/assembly technician for our Coralville, IA site on 2nd shift. You will perform machine and manual assembly, read procedures, follow work instructions, and own the accuracy of processes to meet drawings and quality standards.

You will use SAP and collaborate with other functions to keep schedules, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement efforts. The role requires a HS Diploma or equivalent (or 2 years of relevant experience) and US

• Requires HS Diploma or equivalent or 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine and/or manual assembly.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
• Take ownership of accuracy of processes to meet drawings and specifications.
• Meet internal and external customer deadlines and build parts that meet drawing specs.
• Participate in cost reduction plans and waste minimization efforts.
• Interface with other functional groups to update, inform or resolve production issues.
