AST SpaceMobile is seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Machinist to support aerospace hardware production. You will set up, run, and optimize multi-axis machines, interpret drawings, GD&T, and ensure first-article inspections meet tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in 5-axis CNC machining, familiarity with Mastercam/Fusion 360/NX, and a disciplined approach to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
• 2+ years operating and setting up 5-axis CNC centers.
• Experience machining aerospace or precision components.

Aufgaben

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC machining centers.
• Manufacture complex aerospace components requiring multi-axis machining.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine accessories.
• Verify machine setups and perform first-article inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.
