Job summary

VSE in Bridgeport, WV is hiring for a Material Handler 3PL on 2nd shift. You will team with colleagues to process over 760,000 items annually, unloading parts and ensuring accurate SAP receipts while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include verifying packing slips, inspecting for damage, and coordinating with the storeroom and service center. Requires teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic computer literacy with MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Receive over 760,000 items annually as part of a team.
• Unload parts using PIV, MHE, and pallet jacks.
• Verify receipts against packing slips and manifests.
• Inspect boxes for external damage and report discrepancies to the carrier.
• Unpack parts in a controlled environment and ensure proper receipt into SAP.
• Match customer service orders to incoming parts and place in approved containers.
• Coordinate dock activities with storeroom, repair, and service teams.
• Escalate problem parts for timely resolution and disposition.
• Assist in Goods Receipt SAP transactions MB01 and MB01 reversals.
• Monitor fuel unloading to prevent spills and respond per procedures.
