KeyBank is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Risk Oversight Professional to provide independent oversight as part of the 2nd Line of Defense.

This role focuses on Cybersecurity and Information Security risk oversight for technology services and AI/ML systems, collaborating with 1st Line risk teams and regulators. Ideal candidates have deep knowledge of security operations, IAM, cloud/network security, and AI governance frameworks, with a proven ability to challenge and mitigate risks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Cybersecurity Risk, Information Security Risk, Technology Risk or Security Audit.
• Practical knowledge of security operations, cyber defenses, IAM, and cloud/network architecture.
• Functional knowledge of AI/ML security concepts including governance and data security.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Experience working with internal/external auditors and regulators.
• Strategic thinking with independent execution and broad risk view.
• Knowledge of compliance and internal control frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate risk and control identification within key processes and perform gap assessments.
• Collaborate with leaders to gain insights on cybersecurity posture and AI risks.
• Monitor security portfolio and AI deployments to ensure alignment with risk appetite.
• Review cybersecurity processes and controls for oversight and regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert advice on cybersecurity and AI risk management practices.
• Assess risks of new products/services including third parties.
• Assist with cybersecurity audits and regulatory examinations.
• Escalate significant risk issues and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor emerging cyber and AI risks and industry trends.
