Hamilton County Schools seeks a dedicated elementary education teacher for Bess T. Shepherd Elementary School in Tennessee.

The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing instruction aligned to state standards, with a focus on differentiation and student achievement. The candidate should hold a Tennessee Elementary Education license (K-5) or be enrolled in an accredited teacher preparation program, and may have Title I or high-need school experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program.
• Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus.

Compensation & Additional Info:

• Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
• Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
