Job summary

DuPont Elementary, part of Hamilton County Schools in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking an Elementary Teacher (K-5) to join our high‑performing team. You will plan, deliver, and assess instruction aligned to Tennessee standards, differentiating for diverse learners and building strong relationships with students and families.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and valid Tennessee teaching license (K-5) or current enrollment in an approved program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program.
• Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus.

Compensation & Additional Info:

• Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
• Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
