EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for 2nd grade in Phoenixville, PA. The role involves providing individualized instruction and both push-in and push-out services to support diverse learners in an elementary school setting.

The position requires PA certification in Special Education and strong collaboration with general education teachers, parents, and staff to promote student growth and inclusive learning environments. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education is required.
• Experience with elementary students preferred.
• Push-in and push-out service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized special education instruction to 2nd grade students.
• Deliver push-in and push-out services based on student needs.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 15–18 students.
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth.
