EDU-AIDs in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher to support high school students for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role is based in Philadelphia, PA 19129, with an ASAP start.

The ideal candidate holds a PA Special Education license (preferred), has at least one year of SPED classroom experience, and demonstrates strong IEP knowledge, collaboration, and data-driven instruction.

Qualifications

• PA Special Education teaching license preferred.
• At least 1 year of Special Education classroom experience.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, school administrators, and families to support student success.
• Foster a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes academic, behavioral, and social growth.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and district requirements.
