Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains an effective, developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Manages student behavior to ensure a safe classroom climate.
• Participates in meetings and professional development to improve instruction.
• Assesses student progress toward targets and communicates with families.
• Instructs in ELA, mathematics, science, social studies, and anti-bullying curriculum.
• Prepares daily lessons and maintains consistent attendance.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required

Massachusetts DESE license

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Master’s Degree in Education preferred
