Job summary

Kemp Meadows Memory Care is seeking a Full-Time 2nd Cook to prepare meals per menu and recipes, ensure sanitary kitchen and dining room standards, and assist with resident feedback and pantry management.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts, with pay based on experience. Join our warm facility focused on dignity and quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing all foods according to menus and recipes.
• Assist in gathering resident feedback to improve quality and use pantry efficiently.
• Maintain organization, monitor inventory and expiration dates, and plan meal schedules.
• Perform kitchen and dining room cleanup to uphold sanitary standards.
• Willing to undertake other duties as assigned by leadership.

Job Duties:

• - Assists in the preparation of all foods according to a menu plan and standardized recipes in a safe, efficient and timely manner with continuous assessment of changes
• - Assist in getting feedback from residents to provide top notch quality while utilizing the pantry efficiently
• - Excellent organization and planning skills to monitor inventory, expiration dates and meal schedules
• - Performs kitchen and dining room cleanup duties after meals to uphold the highest sanitary standards
• - Must be able to adapt to a variety of job duties and situations; able and willing to work flexible hours, such as emergency situations.
• - Works scheduled shifts including overtime, scheduled weekends, holidays and rotating shifts when needed.
• - Performs all other duties assigned by the Executive Director or Supervisor in charge which may include housekeeping duties, light maintenance and Resident attention.
