Job summary

The National at Ave Maria Golf Club in Ave Maria, FL is seeking a motivated 2nd Assistant Superintendent to help manage all aspects of golf course maintenance and landscaping facilities. You will work under the Superintendent, ensuring policies are followed and tasks are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, safety, and hands-on labor as needed, with a focus on agronomics and proper chemical application, while coordinating with departments and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Golf Management or Agronomy, or 5+ years related experience.
• Ability to manage golf course maintenance, schedule staff, and oversee equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out golf maintenance department policies.
• Delegate work assignments and monitor performance in the maintenance department.
• Oversee safety, budgeting, scheduling, and payroll for the department.
• Supervise staff, train, discipline, and assist with hiring as needed.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
