SCOPE OF POSITION:

A 2nd Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the coordination of store operations. They work under the guidance of the Store Director to organize, plan, and implement strategies. They also ensure store schedules and objectives are met by team members while monitoring inventory and ordering merchandise based on demand.

Skills And Requirements
  • Sound working knowledge of overall store operations, department operations, and practices within retail.
  • Supervisory experience with strong human relations skills.
  • Math skills necessary for planning, pricing, scheduling, and percentages within areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent team-building, mentoring, organization, coordination, and attention to detail skills.
  • Customer relations, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in operating store equipment, including computers, spreadsheets, and software applications.

As part of our management team, you may be expected to assist other store locations or be open to transfer opportunities if needed.
