Job summary

Martin Energy Group Services LLC is seeking a skilled pipefitter to assemble, weld, install, and maintain stainless-steel piping systems for industrial and energy production. You will interpret engineering drawings and ensure compliance with ASME codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years of fitting experience, a high school diploma or GED, and legal authorization to work in the United States. Background checks and pre-employment drug screening are mandatory.

Job description

This position is eligible for a 15% shift differential. Assemble, weld, install, and maintain piping systems and related equipment for industrial and energy-related production systems. This role requires interpreting complex engineering drawings and performing precision pipe fitting—primarily on stainless-steel piping—while ensuring all work complies with ASME codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of fitting experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
• Must successfully pass a state and federal criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening

Desired Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and isometric piping drawings
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, plant utilities, and process systems
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
• Experience working with stainless steel piping systems in industrial settings
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions
• Journeyman-level pipefitting (or equivalent training and experience)

Preferred

• Strong commitment to safety practices and proper use of PPE (e.g., hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection)
