Job summary

Martin Energy in Tipton, MO is seeking a 2nd/3rd shift pipefitter to assemble, weld, install, and maintain piping systems for industrial and energy-related production. # 2nd and 3rd Shift PipefitterTipton - Martin Energy - Tipton, MO 65081## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## Description**This position is eligible for a 15% shift differential.**Assemble, weld, install, and maintain piping systems and related equipment for industrial and energy-related production systems. This role requires interpreting complex engineering drawings and performing precision pipe fitting—primarily on stainless-steel piping—while ensuring all work complies with ASME codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements.## Qualifications* High school diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience* Minimum of 3–5 years of fitting experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)* Must successfully pass a state and federal criminal background check and pre-employment drug screeningDesired Qualifications* Experience reading and interpreting P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and isometric piping drawings* Familiarity with manufacturing processes, plant utilities, and process systems* Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments* Experience working with stainless steel piping systems in industrial settings* Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions* Journeyman-level pipefitting (or equivalent training and experience) Preferred* Strong commitment to safety practices and proper use of PPE (e.g., hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection)
