Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Packer for the Chillicothe, OH facility. This role covers 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (10:30pm-7am) with potential overtime as needed.

The successful candidate will assemble, label, and package products, maintain ERP records, and ensure quality and safety standards are met in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Assemble and label boxes for production.

• Clean and sanitize work area and equipment.
• Enter production data in ERP system and track status.
• Maintain real-time inventory and coordinate replenishment.
• Perform other ERP-related duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Full-Time Packer position, to join our Chillicothe, OH team!

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 2nd shift - 2:30pm-11pm OR 3rd Shift: 10:30pm-7am
• Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:

COMPETENCIES YOU BRING:

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.
• Must be able to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble and label boxes to be filled with products off the production line.
• Ensure proper seals, codes, dates, and prices on product bags and cases are correct.
• Take defective products off the production line.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and plant equipment.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
