Responsibilities

# 2nd and 3rd Shift CNC Laser/Brake OperatorTipton - Martin Energy - Tipton, MO 65081## Description**This position is eligible for a 15% shift differential.****Purpose of the Role**Responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting and brake press machines to produce high-quality products.**Key Responsibilities and Duties*** Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting and brake press machines to ensure accurate production of parts and materials based on work orders.* Program CNC machines according to blueprints and work order specifications, ensuring all required dimensions and tolerances are met.* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure proper machine operation and job completion.* Select and load materials into the CNC machines based on the specifications outlined in the work order. Ensure materials are available and meet quality standards.* Use a forklift or other material handling equipment to load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines.* Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet the required specifications. Conduct inspections of finished products for quality assurance.* Modify machine settings as needed to adjust to job specifications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure machines are operating efficiently.* Monitor and track inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and supplies. Communicate with management to ensure stock is replenished as necessary.* Communicate effectively with management and team members to report progress, address concerns, and collaborate on solutions to optimize production.* Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
