Job summary

Calyx Living is seeking energetic 2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff for our assisted living community in Wakefield, North Raleigh. You will assist residents with personal care, monitor medications, and help ensure safety and comfort throughout your shift.

Ideal candidates have caregiver experience, compassion for seniors, and strong communication skills. Weekend availability is required to support resident care needs in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience strongly preferred.
• Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
• Reliable, responsive and attentive.
• 18 years or older with a demonstrated maturity.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs and activities of daily living.
• Monitor self-administration of medications as applicable.
• Record resident vital signs and observe changes in condition.
• Maintain resident safety and respond to incidents.
• Assist with meal services and observe for changes in health.
