Job summary

Calyx Living in Raleigh, NC is seeking energetic 1st Shift Care Staff for our assisted living community off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh.

You will assist residents with personal care, monitor medications, hygiene, vital signs, safety, incident reports, meal service, and observe changes in conditions. Weekend availability is required; compassion for seniors is essential. The role provides meaningful daily interaction and opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience preferred.
• Compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
• Reliable, responsive and attentive.
• 18 years or older with a demonstrated maturity.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs and activities of daily living.
• Monitor self-administration of medication and maintain hygiene.
• Record residents' vital signs and observe changes in condition.
• Maintain resident safety and complete incident reports.
• Assist with meal services and observe for changes in health.
