Job summary

Saelens LLC is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our production team, focusing on people, processes, and performance. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency, and is not a hands-on machine operation position.

You will supervise, coach, and develop staff while driving data-informed improvements and accountability across the department. The position requires strong leadership and collaboration with maintenance, quality, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor and follow up on data-driven initiatives including; department performance and productivity, shop cleanliness and organization, and employee attendance and accountability.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
• Lead change initiatives and drive improvements throughout the production department.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to resolve production issues and support operational success.
• Communicate production goals, expectations, and performance results effectively with employees and management.
