Job summary

Sonoco West Chicago plant is seeking entry-level Production Workers to operate a palletizer and support a 24x5 shift schedule on a production line. You will ensure product quality, maintain safety, and work with teammates to meet production goals with accuracy and efficiency.

We offer a competitive pay rate of $27.94/hr plus a $0.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with opportunities for long-term career growth and comprehensive benefits in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to work second or third shift, including weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and palletizing composite paper cans on the production line.
• Placing divider sheets, positioning pallet tags and moving top frames.
• Collaborating with the production team to ensure safety, quality and on-time production.
• Completing required data entry and documentation for production duties.
