Job summary

Lactalis USA is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to maintain and repair plant equipment and systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and support start‑up and commissioning of new equipment in a fast-paced dairy manufacturing environment.

You will work with various teams, follow safety standards, and document all activities using Lactalis systems. This role requires weekend work and potential overtime as part of shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with chemical, food, or manufacturing safety standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machines and equipment (bearings, belts, pumps, gear boxes).
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and record results.
• Troubleshoot pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics; identify root causes.
• Use SAP and Lactalis systems for work orders and documentation.
• Install equipment and assist with start‑up and commissioning.
