Job summary

Feralloy Corporation, part of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., seeks Crane Operators, Machine Operators, and Packers for 2nd and 3rd shifts at a fast-paced steel service center in Spartanburg, SC. Safety is a priority; employees perform inspections and support daily production goals.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. Benefits begin on Day 31, PTO from Day 1, and opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Overhead crane operating experience, 2+ years preferred.
• Experience in a steel processing, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to work orders and customer specifications.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials using overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
• Inspect materials for quality, dimensions, and defects throughout the production and packaging process.
• Package, wrap, band, and secure finished products to meet customer requirements.
• Complete production and inspection documentation accurately and report any quality or safety concerns.
• Maintain production flow by coordinating material movement and assisting team members as needed.
• Perform routine equipment checks and follow all safety procedures while operating machinery and cranes.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to promote a safe work environment.
