  • Guide the learning process toward achieving curriculum goals and communicate objectives to students.
  • Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media.
  • Implement the district’s philosophy of education and instructional goals.
  • Assess student progress and provide reports as required.
  • Participate in building and district programs that improve state assessment outcomes.
  • Protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
  • Maintain records as required by law and policy.
  • Assist administration in implementing policies and rules governing student life and conduct.
  • Supervise student behavior in classrooms and other areas.
  • Be available to students and parents outside instructional hours when required.
  • Plan and supervise assignments for aides and volunteers and evaluate their performance.
  • Maintain and improve professional competence.
  • Attend staff meetings and district activities.

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
