Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the school setting, providing 1:1 care or supporting a multi-needs classroom. The role includes managing trach/vent, G-tube feedings and seizure care for students with complex medical needs.

The candidate should have an active RN license, BLS, current health certificate, and pediatric or special needs nursing experience. This position offers competitive pay and full Maxim benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the practicing state.
• Health certificate required by facility or state regulation.
• TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray current.
• BLS card current.
• RN experience, prefer pediatric or special needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizures with rescue meds, diabetic care).
• May ride the bus to and from school with the patient.

Job description

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the school setting. Duties include working 1:1 or working with multiple students in a multi-needs classroom.

Qualifications

• RN preferred, may consider LPN
• 2 years+ of professional nursing experience required. (1 year with pediatrics or special needs)
• Autism and Behavior experience is preferred
• Looking for the following experience
• G-tube feeding
• Seizures and seizure emergency medications
• Diabetic and CGM skills
• Suction and trach skills

Salary: $ 35 – 45 / hour

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.

• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
