Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the school setting, providing one-to-one care or supporting a multi-needs classroom. The role requires an active RN license; LPNs may be considered. Candidates should have 2+ years of nursing experience, with pediatrics or special needs experience preferred.

Responsibilities include managing G-tube feedings, seizures, CGM and diabetic care, suction and trach skills. Bus transport with the student may be required.

Qualifications

• RN license required; LPN considered as alternative.
• 2+ years nursing experience; 1 year pediatrics/special needs preferred.
• Autism and behavior experience preferred.
• G-tube feeding, seizure meds, diabetic care, CGM, suction and trach skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs (traach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizures, diabetes care).
• May ride the bus to and from school with the patient.

Job description

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the school setting. Duties include working 1:1 or working with multiple students in a multi-needs classroom.

Qualifications

• RN preferred, may consider LPN
• 2 years+ of professional nursing experience required. (1 year with pediatrics or special needs)
• Autism and Behavior experience is preferred
• Looking for the following experience o G-tube feeding o Seizures and seizure emergency medications o Diabetic and CGM skills o Suction and trach skills, Salary: $ 35 - 45 / hour

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
