Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the school setting. The role involves 1:1 care or supporting a multi-needs classroom, ensuring student safety and medical needs are met.

The position requires an active RN license and at least 2 years of nursing experience, including pediatrics or special needs. Prior autism/behavior experience is preferred, with skills in G-tube feeding, seizures, CGM, and suction/trach support.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• 2+ years of professional nursing experience required (1 year pediatrics or special needs).
• Autism and Behavior experience preferred.
• G-tube feeding experience.
• Seizures and seizure emergency medications experience.
• Diabetic care and CGM skills.
• Suction and trach skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, diabetic care).
• May ride the bus to and from school with patient.

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the school setting. Duties include working 1:1 or working with multiple students in a multi-needs classroom.

Qualifications

• RN preferred, may consider LPN
• 2 years+ of professional nursing experience required. (1 year with pediatrics or special needs)
• Autism and Behavior experience is preferred
• Looking for the following experience

• Seizures and seizure emergency medications
• Diabetic and CGM skills
• Suction and trach skills

Salary: $ 35 – 45 / hour

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
