Inwood Academy for Leadership Charter School in New York City is seeking an elementary teacher. The role involves classroom instruction, collaboration with a teaching team and data-driven instruction to support student growth.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with a preference for a Master's and NYS teaching certificate. Urban teaching experience and Spanish proficiency are preferred but not required. Working hours are 7:30am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

• Work collaboratively with other staff and teachers daily
• Enforce and uphold school policies and culture
• Communicate effectively and maintain consistent relationships with students, colleagues, and families
• Any additional responsibilities assigned by Administration

Inwood Academy for Leadership Charter School is a tuition-free public charter school that began as an idea among community members who longed to see more educational choices offered to the children of Washington Heights and Inwood.
