Custodial Worker 1 positions play animportant role in supporting daily campus life and maintaining the spaces where learning, work, and community happen.
We are looking for a professional, punctual, and dependable teammember who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and helps maintain a clean and welcoming campus environment.
The ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work independently is important. This position, as an integral partof the Facilities team, supports the daily operations, comfort, and overall experience of the campus community.
Employees in this role can gain valuable hands-on experience, buildcustodial and facilities related skills, and pursue opportunities for continued growth within the university.
Experience with cleaning techniques, supplies, and custodial equipment is helpful but not required.
As a member of the Facilities team, this position is designated as essential personnel.

The starting salary for this position is $32,724.00.00, per the AFSCME contract.
Successful interviews, reference checks, background clearances (PAC criminal, Child Abuse Clearance & FBI Clearance), anddemonstration of ability are requisite qualifications for allpositions.
