Job summary

AmeriCorps Y.O.U.th Serve Members support youth by serving in Y.O.U.'s afterschool and summer programs. They provide crucial academic support and help lead workshops on social and emotional enrichment and life skills.

Members also assist the program in building relationships with families, community members and school administration, while benefiting from training and an education award upon completion.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to serve in AmeriCorps program.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with youth in afterschool and summer settings.

Responsibilities

Member Duties :

Y.O.U.th Serve Members support youth by serving in Y.O.U.'s afterschool and summer programs. Y.O.U.th Serve Members will provide youth with crucial academic support and help lead workshops on social and emotional enrichment and life skills. Y.O.U.th Serve Members will also assist the program in building relationships with families, community members and school administration.
