Position Summary

St. HOPE Public Schools is seeking a part-time Afterschool Support to work with TK-8 scholars. Candidates must hold the belief that all children can succeed academically and socially and this belief must drive they to be relentless in their work.

Hours can range from 12:15 pm to 6:00 pm, depending on the school day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/Lead various recreational activities
• Participate in the visual & performing arts
• Gain experience working with students
• Guide STEAM, literacy, and health & wellness activities
• Assist scholars by providing homework help and providing positive and constructive feedback

Qualifications

We are seeking a results‑driven leader committed to the St. HOPE Public Schools mission, high expectations, and his or her own professional growth.

• Minimum of 48 units of college credit
• Must feel confident to support scholars in a range of subjects.
• Must love working with children

Highly desired (but not required):

• Working toward college degree
• Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Spanish)

Salary

Starting $18 - $20 per hour, commensurate with experience.
