Overview

We are currently seeking two dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers – Autistic Support to join our team at Sara Lindemuth/Anna Carter Primary School for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with students on the autism spectrum and will be committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Qualifications

• Appropriate Instructional I or II certification in Special Education (K-12).
• If not certified in Special Education, candidates may be considered for emergency certification.
• Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and strategies to support students with ASD.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual needs.
• Passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment for all students.
  
  

Additional Requirements for External Candidates:

• Upload copies of current clearances, including Act 126, 34, 151, and 114.
• Three letters of reference.
• Current resume.
• Copy of PA teaching license.
• Copy of transcripts.
• A TB test and physical will be required upon hire.
