KIPP Philadelphia is seeking dedicated Middle School Math Teachers for grades 5-8 for the upcoming school year. We are seeking talented, committed, culturally competent Middle School Math Teachers to join our middle school teams (including grades 5-8) for the 22-23 school year.

KIPP is a national network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools in educationally underserved communities. Over 100,000 students attend one of the 242 KIPP schools that operate in 31 regions across the United States. KIPP Philadelphia Schools Public Schools (KPPS) is part of the national KIPP network and currently leads six schools serving approximately 2,400 students in North and West Philadelphia. By 2030, KPPS aims to lead ten schools serving around 4,000 students.

Key Responsibilities
Additional qualifications include a passion for teaching, ability to foster an inclusive environment, and at least 2 years of full-time urban teaching experience. Pennsylvania State certification Level I or II is preferred; uncertified teachers should be working towards certification within one year and submit transcripts upon hire. All background checks (PA State Police, Child Abuse, ACT 168) must be completed.
