A leading mental health authority is seeking a master's level clinician to provide enhanced outpatient services for children with dual diagnoses. This role involves therapy, case management, and collaboration with various stakeholders. The position offers training opportunities and emphasizes a strength-based culture focused on wellness and creativity.
Responsibilities: Under the supervision of a Coordinator or Supervisor of Children’s Integrative Treatment Clinic, serve as a master's level professional clinician providing enhanced and outreach outpatient services across multiple levels of care for dually diagnosed children and their families. These services may include enhanced therapy primarily in the office setting, community-based visits, case management outreach activities, and coordination with internal and external providers, including attendance at meetings. The focus population includes children with dual diagnoses of intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or Autism, as well as behavioral health/mental health needs. This position offers opportunities for training in evidence-based treatments, weekly supervision, engaging clinical team participation, and working in a strength-based culture that values wellness, creativity, and intensity.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required. An appropriate State of Michigan credential is required. One year of professional or paraprofessional experience in examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families is required, or one academic year of graduate practicum/internship experience with children and families. One year of post-master’s experience with minors and families within the past 6 years is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally is required. May require the State of Michigan Certified Addictions Counselor credential. Candidate must work well with others. A valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are required.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment contingent upon background verification and credentialing, including Michigan State Police clearance, professional license verification, Medicaid/Medicare verification, driving record check, educational background check, and work history verification. A poor driving record may disqualify applicants.

Salary/Hours: $58,843-$66,788 annually, with scheduled annual increases potentially raising salary to $77,230. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Location: Families Forward/Executive Drive, Lansing, Michigan.
