Qualificações

• High school graduate.

Responsabilidades

• Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using approved venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Verify patient identity with at least two identifiers and properly label specimens at collection.
• Prepare, label, and deliver specimens to appropriate departments within required time frames.
• Access and review electronic orders and enter collection data into the EMR.
• Provide compassionate, professional care and communicate procedures clearly to patients.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety policies; monitor supplies and equipment; report issues.
