Northwell Health Department of Behavioral Health seeks board-certified/board-eligible telepsychiatrists to join our team at our Midtown Manhattan office. Telepsychiatry provides 24/7 access to psychiatric care for ED and inpatient departments across the system, with strong support from a Behavioral Health Counselor and staff.

We offer 12-hour shifts for full-time roles and a part-time overnight option with compensation differential.

Competenze

• Board-certified/board-eligible in NYS is required.
• Emergency Psychiatry experience is preferred.
• Must be able to assess ED and pediatric/adult patients of all ages.
• Part-time overnight position requires 6 shifts per month.
• Full-time position requires availability for weekends and overnights.

Mansioni

• Provide Telepsychiatry consultations via videoconferencing to ED and hospital departments.
• Deliver 24/7 telepsychiatry support with dedicated staffing.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Counselor and clerical staff.
• Work in a Midtown Manhattan academic telehealth environment.
• Join a 12-hour shift model with structured scheduling.
