R&D Drive Engineering Operations in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Shipping Operations Assistant to join a large operations team. The role focuses on inventory readiness, 24 x 7 support, and collaboration with a shift-based group and contractors.

The position emphasizes monitoring, incident response, and maintaining accurate inventory-related reports and SOP-driven processes to ensure uninterrupted customer storage services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in inventory control processes.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools including SAP, Eviance, Windchill, and MSDS.
• Experience using monitoring/logging tools such as SAP, Windchill, and Eviance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues based in Longmont to provide 24 x 7 operations support for Drive infrastructure and customer storage needs.
• Work extensively with a shift-based group of employees and third-party contractors to monitor and maintain inventory readiness.
• Join troubleshooting incident calls to restore inventory readiness and support timely resolution of service interruptions.
• Track and maintain Drive inventory level objectives, ensuring operational reports and visual/quantitative management tools are kept current.
• Maintain constant vigilance and situational awareness of incidents, escalations, and events related to inventory readiness, following SOPs.
