Job summary

RS Americas is seeking a Security Officer to protect employees, visitors and RS assets across facilities in the United States. The role involves patrolling, monitoring, incident response and reporting to the Security Supervisor 24/7 to deter threats and ensure a safe environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, surveillance, and reporting skills, the ability to follow procedures, and the stamina to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Up to 2 years of previous security or related experience desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol facilities and protect personnel and premises.
• Monitor surveillance, inspect access points and authorize entry.
• Respond to safety and security threats and emergencies.
• Prepare reports documenting observations and incidents.
• Assist with mail room operations and provide customer service.
• Adhere to company standards and legal requirements.
