Job summary

Clemens Food Group in Michigan seeks a Security Operations professional to monitor the 24/7 SOC, oversee life safety, access control, surveillance, and emergency response coordination at plant sites. Responsibilities

• Responsible for 24/7 SOC monitoring of life safety, access control, surveillance, emergency switchboard, and supply integrity.
• Notify, assist, and direct external emergency personnel and internal emergency response teams as necessary.
• Conducts internal and external incident investigations.
• Execute Security Programs including Emergency Action Plans and Risk & Vulnerability Assessments.
• Perform plant/trailer temperature verifications, food defense inspections, and security patrols; complete related reports.
• Conducts Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) and Urine Drug Testing (UDT).
• Assist in developing security processes and procedures to improve incident response and SOC functions.
• Perform access control and patrols to detect theft, damage, accidents, trespass, sabotage, enforcing plant security.
• Verify identity using IDs, badges, records, and questioning.
• Allow entry to authorized persons/vehicles; admit, deny, or arrange escorts.
• Conduct vehicle searches/inspections of cargo areas per SOPs.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of perimeter, roadways, parking lots, and building interiors.
• Operate two-way communications equipment to summon emergency vehicles and crews when needed.
• Implements enhanced security in Emergency Action Plan activations (bomb, fire, threats).
• Maintain duty journal and prepare written reports documenting unusual situations and conditions.
