Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a candidate to conduct real-time 24x7 space operations as a ground controller in Colorado Springs. You will support command and control of on-orbit satellites and factory testing, using system software to execute tasks and propose improvements.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work 24/7 shifts, and a TS clearance. You will interact with users, engineering, crew and management to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Experience operating command and control (C2) ground systems for satellite operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to support 24/7, 365 operations.
• Active Top Secret required.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts program-specific real-time 24x7 space operations as a ground controller.
• Provide mission support in command and control of on-orbit satellites and factory testing.
• Utilize system software to accomplish tasks and recommend improvements.
• Analyze and validate software performance.
• Interact with users, engineering support, crew and management as needed.
• Monitor crew logs for situational awareness.
• Maintain crew logs for shift activities.
• Contribute to procedural updates and procedure validation.
